I am a celebrant because I love working with people and I believe in the importance of marriage and other special life events. I love helping to make those events happy and successful.

I bring to my work as a celebrant varied experiences in a range of fields.
I was a secondary teacher of languages for many years, including 2 years as an English teacher in France. This has also given me a love and appreciation of literature and poetry.

I currently work in university administration and management.

I have been a volunteer at the public radio station 3MBS-FM for 25 years. I am a broadcaster and interviewer with a deep love of classical music.

I am fluent in French, German and Italian and speak some Spanish. I am happy to use these languages in ceremonies.

I am a besotted grandmother and am always happy when there are children involved in ceremonies.
